MÁHTUT – Sámi Knowledge and Practices in the Era of the Green Transition” participated in the European Indigenous Tourism Conference 2025 (EITC) and organized an event at the Sámi Cultural Centre Sajos called “The Sámi Food Show.” The show focused on local and traditional ingredients and was moderated by host Saara-Maria Salonen. Local chef Heikki Nikula from Anár and traditional knowledge holder Maarit Länsman from Ohcejohka prepared different dishes at the food show, and tastings were shared with the audience after the cooking. The food show was streamed online.
